Changing a Player’s Team

An admin might swap a player from one team to another to adjust self-assign errors, balance team sizes, accommodate schedule conflicts, honor player or parent requests, or respond to skill-level adjustments. Swapping ensures fair play, improves team dynamics, and keeps the program running smoothly for everyone involved.

To move an assigned player from one team to another, take the following steps:

Log into the Back Office

• League Control and Game Scheduling
  • Team Assignment
  • Search for the league.
  • Click the go-to menu for Teams. Note the Quick-Assign code for the team that the player is swapping to.
  • Click the go-to menu for Participants
  • A list appears. Use “filter within list” to find the player to swap
  • Click the edit button, then enter the Quick-Assign code.

Cogran uses the Quick-Assign code to avoid long lists of teams and accidental swaps using a drop-down menu. This feature makes player assignment move quickly and efficiently!
