Allow Customers to Update Their On-File Card via Cogran
Cogran makes it simple for your customers to manage their own payment details. Instead of contacting staff to update billing information, customers can securely update their credit card directly through their account. This saves time for both administrators and customers, while ensuring payments continue without interruption. In this guide, you’ll learn how to set up this feature in Stripe and connect to Cogran. After setup, customers will be able to update their cards in the Cogran houshehold account.
Set up Customer Card Update by Customer
- Log into the Stripe account.
- Navigate to the customer portal section
- Activate a customer portal link
- On the customer portal configuration page, click Activate link in the Ways to get started section.
- You will receive an email – follow the instructions.
- Copy the link and send it to support@cogransystems.com in an email with the subject “Set Up Updating Cards on File.” Be sure to include the URL of the site of which you are in charge.
- Cogran will update company settings and contact you when complete. Allow 48 hours.
- To test: Paste the link into a browser and follow the instructions
