Linking Cogran to Your Site
Add Cogran to your own site with a few simple clicks!
Cogran is easy to connect to your website using hyperlinks (also known as links or hotlinks). You can add connections to your Cogran installation as many times as needed. So, feel welcome to make it extra easy to sign up by building and linking creative content on your website! You can also add links to emails that you send from any platform.
Depending on the technology that you used to build your website, the specific details may vary. However, essentially, all webmasters will be taking the same basic actions:.
- Copy the web address of your Cogran website. This will look like: https://www.cogran.io/index.html?cograncommunity DO NOT copy any extra characters, which might not be accepted by all browsers.
Note that it is very important to include the full address, including HTTPS. It is also important not to paste in extra characters.

If using Mailchimp, test the link carefully. If your link to Cogran does not load, consider taking the steps in these instructions.
Mailchimp may add tracking characters that break secure links unless you carefully follow these instructions.
How to add a hotlink to a WordPress Site
(General directions may apply for other sites as well).
- Log into your website as an admin
2. In your web page or email, type in text that reads “Register Now” or similar text
3. Highlight the text and choose the icon that looks like a link to open the hyperlink options.
4. Paste the URL of your new Cogran site into the place for the URL to link
5. Save your work.
6. Test! This is always important in case of a typo or saving error.
7. Make sure that your Cogran site loads.
8. If the site does not load, ensure that the link does not include security details at the end: for example, #home. The site code must end the URL.
