Cogran’s Coupon function is used to provide certain discounts at the program and program+registration period.
To create a coupon:
- Sign in to the Cogran Office as an administrator
- Navigate to Registration Setup >Coupons
- Select Create New
- Coupon Code: This is the information to share with users of the coupon, so be brief and clear.
- Status: Set to Open
- Coupon Type (Select from the dropdown). Note that depending on the coupon type, different fields may display.
- Credit Amount: Set a dollar amount. Coupons, like all discounts, are set as amounts, and the discount amount will apply to all relevant items. To offer a percentage discount, figure out how much that percentage will be and use that amount. For example, for a 10 percent discount from a total of $100, set the discount amount to $10.
- Expiration Date: If this coupon will expire, set a date here. The default date is in the distant future.
- Registration Period: Choose a registration period for which this coupon will apply
- Program: Choose a program in the above registration period for which this coupon will apply
Coupon Types:
- Admin apply variable registration credit. Enter credit after dash at checkout (eg FA-350)
- Apply to selected registration period and selected program
- Apply coupon to a session
- Apply to ALL programs in selected registration period
- Apply to one session – one time use
- Apply to one registration period – one per household
- Admin apply member pricing
- Apply credit to ALL programs in order – one per household
- Apply to order as a separate line item – one time use (finance credit must exist)
- Apply percentage off order
- Admin apply variable deposit to a payment plan. Enter deposit after dash at checkout (eg Plan12=100)
- Single use coupon applied for one participant, registration period and program
- Admin Use – Enter coupon code to change the base price of a session – apply during Session Setup
- Admin Use – Enter coupon code to change the base price of a session – apply during Session Setup
