Facility Questions

Questions—and answers—are a powerful way to gather the information that you really need about your reservations. Apply permit fees, require additional agreements, and gather valuable information about the events that your residents wish to collect about your programs.

For example:

  • Do you plan to have more than 100 guests at your event?
  • Do you plan to advertise your event?
  • If so, where?
  • Will you serve alcohol at your event?

At this point, you are able to also add additional costs that are applied based on the answers to the questions.

Add Questions to Your Facility

  • Create your facility
  • Set the availability
  • Add your Reservation Opportunities
  • Click the three dot menu and select “Questions.” Click create new.
    • Choose the order in which the questions will appear. Number by 10s to make it easy to rearrange later.
    • Enter the question as you wish it to appear
    • Enter the question as you wish it to appear
    • Choose what kind of answer you want: free entry, dropdown, or smart.
    • Select a response option from your list
  • In the left margin, select “Item Questions.” Click add.
    • Enter the question as you wish it to appear
    • Check to require
    • To have a fee apply, choose the response that will trigger the fee. In this case, the answer is Yes.
    • Select the fee
    • Set a message to display, if needed

    • Set a message to display, if needed
    • If prices apply, navigate to the next tab and add the prices

Create a Fee

  • To create a fee:
    • Administration and Finance>Finance Fee
    • Set the fee amount
    • Save
