Residents may pay reduced rates. This option is eligible for program, store item, day pass, loan, or ticket. Resident prices automatically apply during registration, when a customer enters the zip code. Customers who are eligible will automatically pay resident rates.

When including resident prices, a field must gather the relevant information on the registration form, and the zip codes must be added in system settings.

Instructions:

Adding resident prices is a part of the Registration Option setup workflow.

  • Registration Options
  • Choose the Registration Option that requires resident pricing.
  • Search>Create New or select an existing
  • Select the edit button
  • The form appears. Fill out the name of the Registration Option and other informaton.
  • Navigate to the PRICES tab
    • enter the price that nonresidents will pay
    • enter the resident price.
  • Save.

This Registration Option can now be offered in a Registration Period.

Add Zip Codes/Postal Codes (Residency Areas)

Zip Codes/Postal Codes can be added to Cogran at any time. These codes are required for Resident Pricing to take effect, as this information is used by Cogran to offer resident prices at time of checkout.

Instructions:

Step One: Choose Resident Pricing Option
System Preferences>Organization Details
System Configuration>Check “Resident/NonResident Pricing.” (This is usually checked by default).
Save

Step Two: Add Residency Areas
Form, Email, and Report Setup>Resident Zip Code
Search
Create New
Enter the Zip or Postal Code
Save

Step Three: Registration Form
Contact Cogran to add a Residency Field on the registration form
