To restrict registration by age, set a date and set specific ages. The date is used during registration, when the registrants enter their own birthdate. The registrant birthdate is automatically compared to the birthdate set on the program to ensure that registrants are the correct age at time of registration. Then, the system determines if the registrant will be eligible for programs. For example, youths born after September 1 who are 10 years old may be eligible for a program, while 10 year olds born before September 1 are considered to be in another age category.
