Updating Lookups for in-form Dropdowns

Dropdowns in some Cogran forms can now be updated adjacent to the form in which they appear. This allows a streamlined setup approach.

Dropdown or modal boxes contain a list of choices, commonly called “lookups.”

Now, certain lookups can be edited in-form.

Cards (not in direct-to-card,only via Front Page)

  • Major category

Registration Period (Season) Setup:

  • Seasons

Programs:

  • Sport or Activity
  • Tax
  • Grade
  • Region Restriction

Facility Reservation Options and Fees:

  • Group Rates

How to Use this Feature

  • Select and search for content.
  • Click the cog icon on the right side of the search page.
  • A list of editable lookups appears below the Filter within List.
  • One or more editable lookups may appear.
  • To select, click the relevant Lookup List.
  • A modal box appears.
  • Click the edit button (pencil) next to a list item to update it.
  • Click the Delete button to delete a list item
  • Click the pink “Create New” button IN THE MODAL BOX to add a new item to the list.
  • Enter a UNIQUE code. Cogran uses these codes behind the scenes.
  • Enter the dropdown content. This may display to the public!
  • Enter the a number to order this item in the list
    SAVE
  • Make any other changes to the list by clicking the “Edit” button next to each list item, updating the form, and saving
    NOTE: The list may not instantly appear to be updated. However, the data will instantly be available in the update form.
    Done!

Tip: A list code number must be UNIQUE to the list. This code cannot be used twice in the same list.
