Calendar Items
Use Display-Only Programs to help the public find events and announcements through your Cogran registration system. These items appear as programs but do not include an option to register.
When to Use a Calendar Item
- Season closures: Let the public know that a season has closed.
- Facility closures: Display a notice that a facility is closed.
- Special events: Share event information. If registration takes place elsewhere, include a link in More Information.
Basic Information
Complete the applicable fields under Basic Information, including Name, Calendar, Card, and Tickets.
Display Options
- Card – for multi card display: This advanced option allows a program to appear across multiple cards. Select the cards from the list.
- Image: Select an image from the list.
- Calendar Color: Set the item’s calendar color.
- More Information: Add information about the item. If an event uses an alternate registration method, include the registration link here.
The form also includes an Archive control.
Filters
Calendar Display Filter
To manage the options used in the calendar display filter, use the lookup name keyword.
Keyword
Keywords are used as filters in the front page list display.
Security Role Restriction
Advanced use: Use Security Role Restriction to restrict setup, updates, and views to the roles specified.
Copy a Calendar Item
Clone Record – Enter Quantity
To copy a Display-Only Program, enter the number of copies you want to make in Clone Record – Enter Quantity.
The copies appear in the list of Display-Only Programs.
Remember: A Display-Only Program shares information but does not accept registrations itself. If registration is required elsewhere, provide a clear link in More Information.
