Sometimes it is useful to change a membership. Note that this does not impact the payment record.
Member Checkin Members can check into Cogran installations. Organizations that offer this on a constant basis are encourage to setup a dedicated terminal for this purpose with a barcode scanner. Membership cards can be printed, or customers can show their membership barcode in their household account.
Some organizations offer member-only programs that are restricted from access to non-members. Once a customer has a current membership, a member is able to purchase the program.
When a customer does not have a member card, it is handy to be able to look up the member number and use this to scan in the customer.
When a membership is purchased in Cogran, a member number is automatically assigned to the membership. These numbers can be updated following these instructions.
New member numbers can be generated in sequence from a new starting number.
Cogran allows clients to update and create new member numbers for each member.
