Create a Store Product

Store products are flexible tools for selling. Store products can be added to a POS card for a quick POS transaction, added as additional items to registration programs, or sold during registration. Store products sold via POS card can have different prices for the same store item.

Quick Instructions:

  1. Registration Setup>Store
  2. Search>Create New
  3. Fill out the form that appears
  4. Choose a type of store product.
    • Uniforms: Uniforms have sizes and multiple price options
    • Store: No sizes, but multiple prices are available
  5. Name the store product.
  6. Add a price.
  7. Save. Done!
  8. Add to a Registration Period

STEP ONE: Fill out the Program Form

Basic Information:

  • Choose a type of store product.
    • Uniforms: Uniforms have sizes and multiple price options
    • Store: No sizes, but multiple prices are available
  • Name: Enter the name of the store product **Required
  • Card: Add the store product to a card. Cards control registration style. **Required Read more about cards. If offering multiple prices,
  • Image: By default, the programs will display with a simple checkmark. By adding an image, the program can be more customized to an organization. Select an image from the list.
  • Activity: Enter an activity for reports, if needed
  • More Information: Include as much additional information as needed. This will display on the confirmation email as well as to the public.
  • Account Code: Set a code. Registration Options can share account codes. Account codes are useful for financial reporting.
  • Archive: If this Store Product should no longer appear in lists, check archive here.
  • Text for Email Confirmation: To create a custom email confirmation for this program, enter the text here. 
  • Copy: Advanced. To copy, enter the number of required copies here and then click save. This feature saves time in creating very similar items, for example. The names can be updated from the list view after clicking save viewing the list of copied programs.

Pricing

  • Price: Enter a base price. All discounts will be calculated from this price. **Required
  • Multiple Prices: If this Store Product has multiple prices, add them here. Enter the multiple price options as name, amount: For example: Shirt Size M $10,10, Shirt Size L $40,40 NOTE: This is only available when the store item is assigned to a a POS card.
  • Tax Code: If tax is applicable, set the tax rate here. Cogran comes pre-loaded with the common tax rate of 6.5%. To change this option, contact support@cogransystems.com
